Kebabs can be really hit & miss via Uber Eats but I'm happy to say my doner from Golden Flames was definitely a big hit. Very generous portions, delicious flavours, and tightly packed made for a thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying kebab experience. I'll be adding this shop to my favourites!

*NO CONNECTION TO THIS RESTERAUNT WHATSOEVER. FIRST TIME CUSTOMER & THIS IS A PROPER REVIEW*. Never heard of this restaurant before, l'm not a local & live 30mins away in another suburb. Found myself in St.Albans, hungry & typed 'kebabs in St.Albans' on google & this was da closest place to my location so l went der & dis was my experience. Straight up l gave 4stars which is da equivalent to sum of your 5stars. Da reason l will never give anything top marks is because even if the food was da best ive ever taisted in my life ders always room to improve & top marks means ders no where to improve & der always,always can improve. Prior to ordering l read other reviews and noticed a mixed bag fro top food to bad food & it didn't make sense. I also noticed with da bad reviews, da shop offered a replacements which means dat day aren't clear as to why things weren't up to scratch with sum orders. You have to remember that its fast food yeah. Its made fast and you eat it fast. I went into the shop & ate & l wonder if sum of the bad reviews was cos it was delivered to dem & not eaten asap after its made. If its made and by da time it gets into your mouth its been 20 or 30 mins later after its made I'm sure ders going to be problems. Plus who knows how da uber driver treated your food whilst in transit !!! After ordering l watched da process in making my food. I ordered a straight up lamb kebab with everything but no chile & can of coke. 4 me everything was fresh l could tell. Good portion of all ingredients, plenty sauce and very well made kebeb. Plenty of tomatoes especially. Bread was fresh & l enjoyed da whole kebab from start to finish. I ate inside & as soon as it was made, l was eating it straight away & not 25 or 30mins later yeah!!! I can't give a bad review if da kebab was nice to eat. For da kebab to be a success, l have to ask myself would l come back again........& da answer is YES. YES l would come back again. I most likely won't because I'm not from the area & ders decent kebabs in my area so ders a good chance dat l won't be back cos I'm passing through St.Albans. Reviews can make or break a restaurant & my review is a positive one cos it was all a positive experience dat l had. So I'll say to the owners/cooks who made my kebab good onya's, well done & thanks for making me a kebab dat l enjoyed eating. Price was fair & decent friendly enough service.

Always has been my go to place to buy on uber eats. Nothing else comes close. Other kebab places are just not it. I always get their lamb kebab(chilli, garlic sauce) with fries and drink combo. Fries are always hot and crispy, good amount of seasoning. Kebab has always been amazing, always been satisfied, I've pretty much ordered from this place around 80+ times already!

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews, I've had HSPs from a lot of places and I only order from Golden Flames now. My only issue is that there's too much meat - I honestly don't like meat that much in general and wish there was a chips+sauce option only. The sauces are delish and the meat is still good for me, even though I prefer no meat. I'd recommend it if you like caramelized meat and tasty AF sauces. Chicken HSP with garlic, mayo and cheese is A+

Solid place to eat HSPs and Kebabs. Food was delicious and fresh even when delivered. Ordered mixed sweet chilli and garlic HSP, portions were good for price ordered and quality.
